    2011年7月26日世界银行报告《创建健康和谐生活：遏制中国慢性病流行》中指出：未来20年里，40岁以上人群中，慢病患者（心脑血管病、慢阻肺、糖尿病以及肺癌）人数将增长2-3倍！慢性病的快速增长主要集中在未来10年。
    On July 26, 2011, World Bank Report of Creating a Healthy and Harmonious Life: Restrain the Epidemic of Chronic Diseases in China pointed out: in the next 20 years, among the population over 40 years old, the population with chronic diseases cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes and lung cancer) will grow 2-3 times! The rapid growth of chronic diseases will be mainly concentrated in the next 10 years. 
     世界经济论坛2011年9月18日发布评估报告，称人类五大慢性病（非传染性疾病）在未来20年将给全球经济造成47万亿美元损失。仅心血管疾病，在2030年前就将耗费全球经济20万亿美元。
    World Economic Forum released an assessment report on September 18, 2011, stating that the five chronic diseases (NCDs) of human beings will result in US$ 47 trillion global economy losses in the next 20 years. Only cardio-cerebrovascular diseases will spend US$ 20 trillion global economy before 2030.
